Requirements:
Minimum educational qualification:
• Certificate of General Education and Training (Grade 9 / Std 7) or equivalent.
Adequate technical experience.
• Live near the health facility as advertised (proof of address will be provided).
• Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 to 35 years.
Competence and knowledge
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Good interpersonal and numerical skills.
• Good reading and writing skills in at least two of the three official languages
from the Western Cape.
Homework
• Assist the craftsman or maintenance personnel with the determination of the necessary materials and tools.
• Maintenance program according to assigned schedule.
• Have all tools and supplies available before starting work.
• Provide clean hygiene and a safe work environment.
• Provide a support service to technical staff.
• Validate that work requests are signed and returned.
