Consolidated Wire Industries (Ply) Ltd invites applications from young dynamic South Africans to receive training for 3 years as Turner, Fitter & Turner, Chemical Engineer. Apprentices of Electrician, Technician and Instrumentation Mechanic.
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Students who want to be considered for apprenticeship must meet the following minimum entry requirements:
Grade 12 (Technical Metrics) with Math and Physical Science (Symbol E or 40% pass grade) OR
Either currently in grade 12 (technical metric) with math and physical science as the year
—Finish examinable subjects. Applicants’ final results prior to recruitment and contract must confirm achievement of Symbol E or 40% approval rating.
OR
Currently registered for the National Certificate – Vocation 4 (NCV 4) at a University of Education and Training (FET).
Applicant’s final results prior to recruitment and contract must confirm achievement of Symbol E or a 40% passing grade in Mathematics and Engineering Science and two business-related subjects.
OR
In possession of Engineering Sciences in the National Technical Certificate (NTC3) with a passing grade of 40% in both Mathematics and Engineering Sciences and two business-related subjects.
Applicant must be a citizen of the Republic of South Africa.
SELECTION AND APPOINTMENT:
Candidates will be required to go through a comprehensive selection process that includes tests, interviews, medical examinations, reference checks, and verification of claimed qualifications.
DOCUMENTS:
Certified copies of completed grades or confirmation of current year’s record (on official school letterhead) or latest school report, or
a copy of the Rae National Technical Certificate (NTC3) or NTC3 FET College Results Statement or
proof of registration and a certified copy of identification with all contact details,
