REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum requirement: basic skills, math and literacy. Experience:
Adequate experience in the transport of personnel and goods. Inherent
job requirements: valid code (C1 / EC) (code 10) driving license. Valid
Public Driving Permit (PDP). Willingness to work overtime and perform
standby tasks. Skills (knowledge / skills): ability to communicate in
at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Knowledge of
routine, maintenance, vehicle defect inspections and safe driving
skills. Ability to accept responsibility and responsibility and to work
independently. Knowledge of the Transport Circular 4 of 2000 and good knowledge
of the road networks in the Hospital of Ceres – Subdistrict of Witzenberg (Cape
Winelands District).
DUTIES :
Daily transport of official passengers, mail, packages, medicines, goods
and equipment. Ensure accurate completion of records. Deliver and collect
blood products from Worcester Blood Services. Carry out routine maintenance,
government vehicle cleaning and conducting routine vehicle inspections
and report defects. Perform routine administrative tasks when required e
respond to emergencies when necessary. Rescue personnel inside the component
when required and provide support to the supervisor.
