The De Beers Group invites suitable candidates to apply for the 2021 Learning Opportunities. The training course will run for a period of 6-12 months. Location: Musina, Limpopo.
PURPOSE AND ROLE IN THE ACTIVITY:
The De Beers Venetia mine will assign 8 positions for experiential learning. This is to provide tertiary students with the opportunity to meet their institution’s necessary requirements for practical training towards the completion of their qualification. We are looking for students in the following disciplines for a period of six to twelve months (with consideration for the institution’s requirements !.
Disciplines:
Engineering
Metallurgy e
mining engineering
Other disciplines related to mining
Safety, health, environment and hygiene
Minimum requirements
Registered in a tertiary institution with PI, P2, or occupational exposure as a requirement for qualification
Letter from the tertiary institution requesting P1,. P2 or occupational exposure
It must be from the Municipality of Blouberg or Musina
Applicants should not be bound by other organizations for similar exposure
A valid driver’s license will be an added benefit • Successfully obtain a red ticket (medical certificate and mine safety clearance
