DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate is responsible for: • Be trained towards an Artisan in a leamership programme • Assist artisans in their job functions and also pertorm technical work (fix, replace and malntain equipment as well as construct and fabricate) by applying engineering principles. • Successfully complete all engineering training phases and through on and off the job training to qualify as an artisan. • Get accustomed to Marula Mine rutes, regulations and standards to ensure organizational best practices and legislative compliance are adhered to. Work effectively and diligently with an allocated coach (artisan or foreman) in ‘supervised practice’. Conduct basic fault diagnosis, problem solving and reporting. Malntain engineering equipment efficiently and help prevent production losses. Act as supervisor with limited authority to gain supervision skills and experience 5.
