- PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To train and assess mining technical skills according to the quality LDS principles, legistative req. and to facilitate theoretical, practical and behavioural competencies to improve H&S and increase productivity according to the organisational needs

- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12/ NQF Level 4 is essential • ETD/ HRD Qualification will be an added advantage • Assessor/Moderator certificate will be an added advantage • 2 years production experience is essential. • Winch Operator / Rock drill Operator / Blasting Assistant and Equipment helper experience would be considered an advantage. • Valid medical certificate or be medical fit in order to obtain such a certificate
- COMPETENCIES: • Knowledge regarding mine standards, best practice, risk management. • Excellent facilitation and coaching skills. • Technical working knowledge with regard to mining skills.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be responsible for: • Facilitating skills development to meet individual and operational requirements. • Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety Regulations. • Effectively conduct training delivery. • Assessing learners against national unit standards. Completing and submitting all required documentation accurately and correctly
