STATE ACCOUNTANT
REF NO: LAD 05/2021 (X1 POST) Management: Department of Finance
SALARY: R257 508 per year
CENTER: Kopanong Hospital
REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 plus five years relevant experience or National Diploma / Degree in Financial Management / Accounting / Internal Auditing or Cost Management with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a financial understanding of PFMA, Treasury Regulation and policies relevant financial statements, requirements, protocols and guidelines. In-depth knowledge of basic accounting cross system such as BAS, SAP and SRM, etc.
DUTIES :
Ensure that the reconciliation of autonomous / cross systems (BAS / SAP / PERSAL / MEDSAS and PAAB), including the reconciliation of suppliers and small cash, is done on a monthly basis. Ensure that payment for goods and services, transfers, machinery and equipment, and relationships are performed efficiently and effectively. Facilitate the payment of service providers within the required time frame. Develop journals for misallocations, departmental and interdepartmental complaints. Optimize revenue collection and effective debt management. Maintain an ethical and procedural conduct.
