The City of Tshwane (Division of Learning and Development) is an accredited training provider offering a comprehensive apprenticeship program in the following trades:
• Electricity (30)
• Welding (12)
• Vehicle mechanics (15)
• Assembly and turning (15)
• Boilermaking (12)
• Plumbing (15)
Stipend: R2 000.00 per month
What do you need
You will need at least an N2 certificate with relevant math, science and business theory. You must
also be interested in becoming a craftsman and have the necessary devotion and enthusiasm.
(Aspiring electricians must have a 40% or better in Math and Science.)
Applicants for special schools must be in possession of Grade 10 with technical subjects, Mathematics and
Sciences.
